NexusPoint is currently open to collaborating with companies interested in engaging the Federal and Small Business Administration's Mentor-Protégé programs. The objective of the Mentor-Protégé program is to help foster the relationship between mentor and the protégé (NexusPoint) to increase the industrial supplier base and enable the transition of eligible proteges from subcontractors to prime contractors.
An additional intent is to increase subcontract opportunities under the Mentor's contracts, DoD contracts, other government agency contracts and commercial contracts, and to promote the establishment of long-term business relationships between eligible protégés, the mentor and other contractors.
NexusPoint's objective is to obtain SBA's 8a status through the collaboration with a Mentor company under a Mentor-Protégé agreement and other subcontracting opportunities. While NexusPoint gains valuable experience through this partnership, the company can have confidence that we will work towards long-term partnerships for opportunities in 8(a) and Woman-owned small business contracting opportunities.
